We, the Unattractive.

I have the Pen as my staff. My paper is my shield.

Behind this curtain, my unattractiveness is concealed.

Created differently. Lesser of such.

This, not enough. That, too much.

Created asymmetric when symmetry is wanted.

So different from others. With this, we are haunted.

We try to be cheery. Good and hearty.

Still, you’re not invited to the big party.

Pity is thrown on, down from above.

Just for the moment. Gentle, like a dove.

Was it of love that the sporadic pity is thrown?

What would be needed, so friendships are grown?

They keep distant. Not much to say.

Words are short. Actions say, “go away.”

The hardships we endure give us a place.

With God, we learn lessons not at their pace.

You see many things, no one else can see.

You must try harder than them. Just to be.

Gaining strength in measures they don’t grasp.

Seeing things of truth that your soul will clasp.

You become stronger because of the things you endure.

The things you see so clearly, to them, it’s so obscure.

You start to see the meaning of “blessed be the poor”.

Things you don’t have make you stronger ever more.

The soul you have is created just like theirs.

They show off. But it is you who deeply cares.

Don’t let their ignorance drag you down.

Someday you will smile. They may frown.

There was a teacher who came to the Earth.

He came from a woman through blessed birth.

Showed us how to live life, as hardships go past.

Said, “The last is first, and the first is last.”

So, you were born now, as one of “Low Show”.

But in the race, your hardships help you know.

Know wisdom more than those who are pretty.

Because you see life experienced in the nitty gritty.

You. With more strength from the difficulties that spin.

Attain focus and God’s spirit, make righteousness within.

Your unattractiveness can be a blessing if leveraged true.

Bring wisdom and greatness to others who seem blue.

Give them an example of how they can become great.

A person whom they see and can personally relate.

Conquer what you have been given, to learn, and live with.

Thinking handsome people are better is, spiritually, a myth.

No one can know what it's like to be in the shoes of us.

To ride with God's beauty, in the “unattractive bus.”

Even God himself can’t know what it is to be a Man.

Which is why he came in skin, to experience our plan.

Just be true and honest, all through this bout.

Let God be with you, and together, sort it out.
