A.I.

Circuit boards tightly hold the microchips.

Digital switches decide which one flips.

One or is it zero, on which side will it fall?

Steering the decision of proper protocol.

Increment. Test. Run the algorithm one more time.

The determined outcome can change the paradigm.

Is it this, or this, or is it that, or that?

Let the computer tell you where it’s at.

Don’t think about it. Let it do the work for you.

It does so much, you forgot what you knew.

Now the machine calculates. Gives you the result.

Does it pay you great compliments or an insult?

So, surrender your decisions. Surrender your mind.

The outcome is given. So now it seems very kind.

It does the work for you. No need to stand tall.

Do what it says. It proclaims, “You will never fall.”

Here is where you should go. This you should eat.

It seems so perfect. So blissful, and so replete.

Corrects your spelling. Corrects your grammar.

Makes you look perfect. Giving you great glamour.

Tells you what hairstyles are in, what shoes are great.

And you never realize that it is an electronic gate.

You try to speak freely. Now it pokes you in the eye.

Now you see you are governed by the acronym A.I.

Artificial intelligence, put together by women and man.

To see and watch you. Influence your life if they can.

Your life is guided by them. Their truth is artificial.

The perfect world they want. But it is so superficial.

Many say it’s no good. But use it so much, it feeds.

Freedoms clutched tightly. Crushed until it bleeds.

But who cleans up the mess? You do of course.

Artificial intelligence has no programmed remorse.

Loads your lives profile. It will browse it through.

Will print out your errors, and how you are true.

Judgment by circuits, and a complex machine.

Now we are reduced to a number on a screen.

What is your score? Can the government trust you?

Wait until the I. R.S. grabs you and runs you through.

Decisions made about your life. Based on money.

It could end in tyranny. So fast, it isn’t funny.

Your medical, banking, and purchases are being watched.

Things greatly changed. And our lives possibly botched.

Now your children are tracked, labeled, and taught.

Teach A. I. is good. Show how security is bought.

It can make us lazy. Common skills can be taken.

Thinking it doesn’t affect you? You are mistaken.

The ones at the top may think it’s a great gem.

Until things change badly, and it turns on them.
