We are all different, but part of the same universe.
In ways created equal. In infinite ways, so diverse.
All splayed in spirit. Our futures, in different directions.
Yet all are in the hands of creation as vast collections.
We kick each other in special places, giving pain to the body.
To better our image and look great. But we really become gaudy.
Is it that hard to reach a hand out, or arms open wide?
Why then, so often our love and compassion we hide?
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are shoved down your throat.
Maybe those who push it, in their crown of pride, gloat.
They dictate forcefully what it is, and how it must be.
With detailed instructions. Now government is the key.
They mock you if you question it. Gives them power, and fun.
Forced, with a knife at your throat, or at the end of a gun.
Those in power don’t care if this is a division between us.
It is not taught, “We all are together, on this earthly bus.”
If we would instruct each other on this earth that spins.
To give of oneself surely creates many profitable wins.
DIVERSITY is a must. We should all not be the same.
Thinking, and being different is how we win this game.
All corners are covered. All techniques are learned.
Sticking together uniquely is how we don’t get burned.
This is how art is made. Music created. A kidney is replaced.
Everyone has their specialty, which is how things are based.
EQUITY is where everyone should be respected the same.
With truth and understanding, we are all in the same frame.
Help others, give them a leg up. Help them never be a fool.
What ever happened, my fellow mortals to “The Golden Rule?”
If we treat others poorly, remorse in our minds should claw.
With the clarity of a diamond, we should see this fatal flaw.
But let us not give the trophies only because of participation.
Some will do better than others, because of life’s implication.
You may be less at one thing. But on the other hand, better than others.
Though un-equivalent, we all should be like sisters and brothers.
INCLUSION is not to turn your back on those you think not.
Bring them into the good things, regardless of their lot.
No one should be shoved out into the cold.
To bring them in takes character, so bold.
To overcome your dislike of them. Make your gift of care.
Maybe a piece of your portion, you break off and share.
But not too much. You want them to earn their way.
Wish them great character. Help them grow it every day.
We must help everyone through. Become part of this human squad.
Show each other the truth. As shown by the Son. The Son of God.
