Flowing hair, onto shoulders perfectly made.

When she walks. Her beauty is like a parade.

Perfectly symmetrical. Created perfect in flesh and body.

Not a day in her life has she looked even partially shoddy.

Skin flows perfectly over divinely shaped bones.

When men see her, their soul quietly moans.

Clothes and shoes are placed perfectly, so excellent in style.

Everyone wants to look at her. First a glance, then a while.

A pageant of vision is poured into people's minds.

They respect her for her looks. She constantly finds.

She has beautiful eyes of perfect sky blue.

If stared at you, they can pierce you through.

Married to a man. He makes great sums of money.

Every joke he makes, she finds so very funny.

Her laugh is so perfect, that her vocal cords make.

But inside her, her laughs are forced, and so fake.

In a restaurant, she places her order so bold.

It arrives late. And now one item is cold.

She looks down her nose. Says "How dare you.”

Make it perfect, like me, or we are through.

Yes, Mam is said, as the waiter scurries away.

Rolls her eyes. Like he isn’t worth the pay.

Answers her phone. Asks “How are you, my love.”

Says it with a voice like a beautiful dove.

Hangs up the phone after talking so sweet.

Says out loud, “That woman is a deadbeat”.

The food came back. This time was perfectly good.

Rudely told the waiter to go away, as he patiently stood.

Her husband asked her if she could be a little more kind.

She barked out, that everyone needs a piece of her mind.

Arriving home, she talks with a neighbor so near.

Speaks to her kindly. As the neighbor likes to hear.

Inside her home, tells her man of the neighbor next door.

Says, “She dresses so badly. Like a street corner whore.”

Next day, she walks into town. Looking so good.

Walking so stylish, as she thinks she should.

A man walks by her and says “Good morning”.

She doesn’t look at him. Her thoughts are scorning.

He wasn’t a pretty person she thinks in her mind.

Believes there is no reason for her to be so kind.

She thinks his thoughts were purely evil.

He’s a cockroach and a lowly boll weevil.

Judges people by what she does think.

Possibly of evil, for she is on the brink.

Beautiful out. Ugliness in.

Maybe she is a walking sin.

Yet she looks at men, in days of strolling.

One other than the husband. She is trolling.

At work, she meets a man with a sexy voice.

The rest of his body makes her body rejoice.

Their bodies resonate with lust and desire.

Rush to a hotel room to quench the fire.

Together only once. She never sees them twice.

They aren’t important. Just an urge to suffice.

This has happened many times before.

She doesn’t think of herself as a whore.

Months go by. Her body misses its time.

She’s pregnant. How will she cover the crime?

To the doctor. Cut it out. Throw it away.

She’s beautiful again. Another lovely day.

Lays her head on a pillow, to sleep in bed.

Has a bad nightmare, so full of dread!

Dreams of a dead baby, in her arms so cold.

A terrible experience for anyone to behold.

During the days she has sadness so deep.

Dreads going home, and then off to sleep.

At one in the morning, is waken with serious crying.

Her husband holds her. Comforting her, he’s so trying.

Finally, his love and compassion pierce her soul.

Confesses to him. Everything in her evil bowl.

Tells him she is evil, wicked. Selfish with sin.

Says, “Only now do I really love you within.”

Offers to leave him. Says she is not worthy of his view.

He says,” I hate what you did. Hurt me! But I love you.”

Brought down to earth. Sees her selfishness throughout.

Knows there must be an end to this spiritual drought.

Years go by. Good change comes slow.

But the path is true. This she does know.

With the help of her spouse, she learns humble pride.

Forget all the glamour. Now she’s beautiful inside!
