Is there a God?

People wonder if there is a God.

It seems he gives Sin a wink and a nod.

They don’t understand we have freedom to choose.

Not understanding, we have chosen to lose.

We must learn, each of us. As for what to do.

To be a part of the team. A member of the crew.

Working together. Learning from many others.

In time, we must become Sisters and Brothers.

Not just your family, not just your good friend.

Love to everyone, must your heartfelt soul send.

The word was given to us, long long ago.

Practice the Commandments and you will know.

Look in the mirror, yourself you will see.

See yourself truly, much better you will be.

Gaze past the clothes, makeup on skin.

Search what you see, the true self within.

You may not like what you see. Ugliness, of slight.

For a Human to change is a very large fight.

Then there’s the wandering of thoughts. Of mind.

Sometimes not bad. Sometimes very unkind.

Trying to become better, day by day.

From all your actions. To the words you say.

You must fight the fight. Try to be good.

So much you fail. In the ashes, you stood.

To be good alone is very hard to do.

The help of others, you must go through.

But what if you have no one to turn to.

The vacuum collapses you until you're blue.

But who can help us you may ask.

Who will help, with such a large task?

Someone to help through this trial you plod.

Just then you think. Aha! There is a God!
