You see things showing from a particular angle.
The meaning of which your mind does wrangle.
Seeing this thing, from your kept frame of mind.
Something isn’t right. Your thoughts are in a bind.
Observed in a glowing light or twilight dark.
Studying the image, while your mind does hark.
Now you move over to a completely new position.
Your emotions now put you into a varied disposition.
Now it is gazed upon in a whole different light.
It isn’t like before. The mind's conflict is now a fight.
So, it used to look like this. And now like that.
Which perspective observed, is now up to bat?
Does our prejudice tell us which view is true?
Which doorway of belief do we walk through?
Now someone shows you, to view it in a different way.
Do you think of that vision, or do you stubbornly stay?
Your ego says to hold onto your sight, now steadfast.
Selfishness suggests you shouldn’t believe the contrast.
Mind gravity sometimes pulls our observations of thought.
A rigid perspective can make our thinking very taut.
Unable to see things from another point of view.
Only to behold your truth that is possibly askew.
Does your perspective bring selfishness or gain?
From that short vision, not much will remain.
If things are seen only for oneself, and not for others.
You’ll miss the gift of living with sisters and brothers.
Can you honestly see the way it is?
Hopefully, you can pass the quiz.
With a different light, can you see a new hope?
Let the truth pull you in with a righteous rope.
Now stand far back and see the universe view.
With this perspective, your thoughts will renew.
Through the eyes of a woman, or the eyes of a man.
The viewpoint of each may be of a different plan.
The real angle, the real vision that shows things true.
It's the sight of help and love that pierce lies through.
Crush the perspective of falsehoods that hurt and stain.
Grow the forward motion and leave behind the pain.
I know the true viewpoint is a challenge and a bother.
But is the only way to see the universe and the Father.
