Prejudice.

Who is the recipient? Now, who is the receiver?

Do you give it truthfully? Or are you the deceiver?

You see it this way. The way you want it to be.

Judged so quickly. With the verdict you see.

Are you seeing it as good, or view it, as all so bad?

Where did you get the concept? From your Mom or Dad?

Is this prejudice learned, or was it given?

For your selfish want, it may be driven.

Automatically tuned to think things in a certain way.

Hard as a diamond, your opinion will persistently stay.

To your friends and family, the viewpoint is broadcast.

Opinions are rock solid. Your belief is so steadfast.

Do you see people as a certain color, or maybe race?

Or does their religion give yours, a jealous chase?

Selfishness bleeds. Out, the prejudice oozes.

It makes up our minds. Does what it chooses.

Is your point of view, on the left, the center, or the right?

Once again. Prejudice shows you. Eliminates the fight.

Maybe you don’t care whether it’s right or wrong.

Comfortable in your position. You think you belong.

Not willing to change, strengthen, or grow.

Think that everything, you definitely know.

Do you look at people with daggers of hate?

What perception of them, do you advocate?

Now why is it that you look at things so?

What good direction does it make you go?

Does this destination of prejudice make you feel alive?

Do you steer it? Does it make your hate thrive?

What other dark opinions and waste does it bring?

Maybe it’s your ego that you so strongly cling.

What could be its purpose? Why does it exist.?

Could it be the animal inside us uses it to persist?

What witnesses does it use to demonstrate the fact.?

You must realize in time, its interference must retract.

As you go forth in life and eventually mature.

Its importance, in time, will become obscure.

You now see prejudice was really, being too opinionated.

This muddy view kept the truth from being integrated.

Now you can be a far greater person, as we all hope you are.

With this new vision, you now can see the good, near and far.

Looking back now, you have that experience to give.

Showing people the error. And with tolerance, how to live.
